“Name Our Newsletter” Contest Winner
At the 2019 Annual Conference, the Technology and Communications committee announced the winner of the Name Our Newsletter contest. Membership voted and chose UMACRAO Connections, submitted by Kathy Callies. Kathy won free registration to our 2019 conference. Thank you for your wonderful contribution, Kathy.
2019 Annual Conference Recap
Our 2019 Annual Conference took place in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, November 6 – 8. Over 83 members attended the conference along with 14 vendors. The conference included 25 presentations, 4 round table sessions, a tailgating event sponsored by College Scheduler, and closing speaker, Eric Alva. UMACRAO partnered with REACH Literacy to donate $904.00 and 500 books. The letter from Paige Carter at REACH Literacy illustrates the impact our donations have made.
